9/14 @ 7 PM - PTA Membership Meeting
Huge thank you to the 130 individuals who have joined our PTA which includes membership to the Texas and National PTA networks advocating for public schools. Make sure you join this week to ensure your voice counts at our first membership meeting of the year. All are welcome to attend meetings, but only members may vote. 9/13 - Beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month - Virtual Kickoff Celebration (See attached flyer)
9/17 - Stock the Lounge - What better way to show our support than to stock the staff lounge with snacks and drinks? There are two ways you can help: 1) a monetary donation, please contact our hospitality chair, Kelly Fountain OR 2) please sign up to bring an item. Please drop off your item by Friday September 17 and label it "STOCK THE LOUNGE". There will be a large bin outside the front of the school labels "PTA HOSPITALITY". As always, thank you so much for your help!

9/21 - Campus Advisory Committee (CAC) meeting
CAC is a committee of parents, students, businesses and community representatives, teachers, principals and other campus staff. Specific functions of CAC include providing input on Campus Educational Programs, Campus Performance, Campus Improvement Plan, Campus Staff Development Plan, Campus Budget and other important topics pertaining to our school.
9/27 - 10/01 Custodian Appreciation Week
9/30 - Papa John’s receipt share! PIZZA NIGHT! If you're tired of cooking by Thursday night, we've got a plan. When you order pizza from Papa John's Thursday, September 30, mention Lee and they will donate 20% of sales to our school! We'll be sending out a promo code for online orders soon. Mark your calendars!

Lee Lil' Pantry: Please help us restock Lee's Lil' Pantry with items on this list https://bit.ly/LeePantry. This pantry was set up to help our students and families who might be experiencing food insecurity and often provides easy to make meals for students to tie them over for the weekends. The Lee Lil' Pantry is located near the entrance to the school's library. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Lee Community Cares chair, Lauren Ross. Take what you need, leave what you can….
ROADRUNNER RALLY We're almost halfway through our fundraising drive and still need help from YOU! Roadrunner Rally is our easy annual campaign that helps us pay for events such as Geography Day, Lee Olympics, and the Fall Carnival, as well as professional development for teachers, help with classroom expenses, and educational enrichment opportunities. We are hoping to achieve 100% participation, so if you haven't donated yet, now is your chance! After School Enrichment Opportunities: In order to maintain the amazing safety protocols that are so eloquently enforced by our staff, additional after school activities are on hold for now. Please know that when COVID rates decline and it feels safe, we have many options ready to roll including new vendors and no-cost options (and volunteer opportunities!). In the meantime, stay safe and healthy!
Looking for volunteers! Our Fami-Lee is a community of incredible folks who support our school in a variety of ways usually through time, talent and/or treasure. In fact, many of our beloved school activities would not be possible without the involvement of our parents, grandparents, caregivers and our extended Fami-Lee.
