Our Community in Action
Volunteer opportunities for every schedule, skill set, and interest.
Our Fami-Lee is full of amazing people who support our school with their time, talents, and resources. So many of the annual events and experiences our kids love simply wouldn’t happen without the help of parents, grandparents, caregivers, and our extended community.

Find Your Way to Help

Lee Creates
Coordinator & Volunteers
Perfect for our creative caregivers, Lee Creates is all about bringing ideas to life across campus. From balloon arches and signage to murals and more, this role adds those extra-special touches that make our events and spaces feel vibrant and memorable.

Appreciation
Coordinator & Volunteers
This team keeps hearts full and bellies happy at Lee! From coffee carts and themed lunches to stocking the staff lounge, the Appreciation Coordinator and volunteers make sure our teachers and staff feel supported and celebrated all year long. It’s one of the most appreciated roles in our
Fami-Lee — and for good reason!

Copy Cats
Coordinator & Volunteers
Give teachers a well-deserved break by helping with copies and laminating. Just an hour a week can make a big impact, keeping classrooms running smoothly and giving teachers more time to focus on their students.

Lost & Found
Coordinator & Volunteers
With over 400 students, our Lost & Found fills up fast! Help us reunite jackets, lunchboxes, and other treasures with their owners throughout the year — your efforts make a big difference for students and staff alike.

Grade Level Coordinator
(aka "GLC")
Each year, one caregiver from every grade helps bridge communication between the PTA and parents. As the teacher’s right-hand person, you’ll share important updates and keep your grade-level families in the loop, helping to make sure everyone stays connected and informed. Mainly a virtual volunteer position.

Lotería Night
Chair & Committee
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us at Lee during Loteria Night! This fun evening features bingo, tasty food, and prizes — and you can help make it happen without a big time commitment. Perfect for caregivers who want to lend a hand and enjoy the festivities!

Fall Carnival
Chair & Committee
Every October, Lee comes alive with our Fall Carnival! This team plans a fun-filled day packed with festive food, carnival games of all sorts, and generally spooktacular activities — bringing families together on campus, creating lasting memories for our Roadrunners.

Movie Night
Chair & Committee
Pick a night in the fall and help bring outdoor movie magic to Lee! This is a super low-effort volunteer opportunity that’s all about creating fun, feel-good experiences for our community. Perfect for caregivers who want to pitch in without a big time commitment.

Celebration of Science
Chair & Committee
Aligned with AISD’s Science Fair in January, this role coordinates Lee’s on-campus Celebration of Science. You’ll help organize Lee's volunteer judges and partner with Mrs. Day in hosting an afternoon viewing, making it easy for families to celebrate our Roadrunners’ scientific discoveries.

Geography Day
Chair & Committee
Geography Day is a long-standing Lee tradition that brings the world to our students — no passport or plane ticket required. Each year, our campus “travels” to a place that helps students learn about global cultures, geography, and perspectives in a hands-on, memorable way. This group will identify the featured country, source food, secure presenters and create a craft to fill a February morning of fun.

Lee Live
Chair & Committee
Lee Live is our biggest adult-only fundraiser of the year—an unforgettable night of live music, silent and live auctions, and lots of fun! The Chair leads, backed by a full committee, to make the magic happen. Join us and help hit our fundraising goals while being part of one of the most exciting nights of the year! Event usually happens late March or Early April.

Lee Olympics
Coordinator
Help bring the gold-medal magic to Lee! Partner with our amazing coaches to create a Field Day full of energy, teamwork, and friendly competition. You’ll rally volunteers and keep events running smoothly so our Roadrunners can go for the gold and enjoy an unforgettable day of fun. Lee Olympics is typically held the first week of May.
