The Lee PTA through the Community Cares Committee organizes a backpack program for families who could use a little extra help preventing food insecurity over the weekend. The program is supported through community donations to a well stock backpack which is provided on Friday afternoons to students enrolled in the program to provide them with shelf stable foods to last them through the weekend. The food donations are dropped off in the Lil' Pantry outside of the school library.
