Students learn to sing and strum, while also developing their note reading skills and overall musical ability. The lessons include a lot of original songs created just for Groundwork Music Project, plus lots of familiar traditional pieces. Classroom activities help kids to truly enjoy the challenge of learning an instrument. Beyond classroom activities, all students are welcomed to participate in monthly Groundwork stage events with professional musicians, and the holiday concert at Central Market (December 10).
