Take the AISD School Consolidation Survey PHASE II Today!
AISD School Consolidation was a big topic at the Principal’s Coffee today. Each family is encouraged to complete the Phase II Survey - which can be found on the AISD School Consolidation site here. This survey gives a chance to share personal stories about what makes our campus a unique and amazing place. You can also see the current data rubric, story map, and timelines.
AISD will share a draft plan with the community before the Board Info Session on October 9th
The board is scheduled to vote on the plan on November 20.
School consolidations, boundary changes, and adjustments to transfer policies will go into effect beginning the 2026-27 school year.

Principal's Coffee Recap
There was a great crowd in the cafeteria today to join Ms. Sileo for the first principal’s coffee of the year. School consolidation (see above) took up the majority of discussion - but school accountability scores and new consent forms were also discussed.
Congratulations to our amazing campus for raising their STAAR accountability scores from a B (87) to an A (92)!! A huge thank you to the incredible staff for the work they’ve put into helping our students achieve this higher score. You can find Ms. Sileo's accountability letter with more detail here.
Consent forms for your students around mental health-related services, physical health-related services, and participation in school-sponsored Student Clubs were emailed on 8/27 from aisdcommunications@austinisd.org. There has been no change to the services offered, however due to the passing of SB 12, parents are now required to opt-in. Please check your email and complete these forms by September 2.

Back to School Night Next Week
📅 September 4 @ 6-7 PM
Lee is hosting Back to School Night next Thursday, 9/4. This is a caregiver only event (adults only). Each grade will host two, 30 minutes sessions where you hear directly from your student's teachers about the school year ahead. It's a great opportunity to ask questions and connect with your student's teachers - you might even get to sit in a tiny chair!
Teacher Led Fall Clubs - Registration opens 9/5
Registration will open for Teacher-Led clubs on Friday, September 5 at 8 pm.
Vendor Clubs (hosted at Lee, unaffiliated with PTA) – Registration is NOW LIVE. Most vendor clubs start the week of September 8.

Roadrunner Roadies - Join us 9/7!
Help beautify our campus with our Roadies chair, Susana Prince, on Sunday Sept. 7th from 8-11AM. We’ll be taking care of outdoor work to make our campus beautiful and welcoming to all. All ages welcome! BYOT (Bring Your Own Tools) - rakes, buckets, wheelbarrows, and sleds.

Lost and Found - Label It, Don’t Lose It!
Don't forget to label your child's water bottle, backpack, lunch box, and jackets with their first AND last name. This is the best way to ensure your child's things find their way back to their classroom.
Lost and Found is located inside the school so students can access it easily; parents must check in at the front office. Items may be donated within 2 weeks if Lost and Found is full.
