Roadrunner Spotlight

A special shout out to two amazing volunteers!

Without these two dedicated volunteers the PTA would not be able to support the students, staff and community as much as we do!

Anjali Keller led an AMAZING fundraising campaign all year, raising $144,000 from spirit nights out, to merch sales, parking lot sales, Roadrunner Rally, Carnival, Corporate sponsorships, company matches & Lee LIVE! Anjali is a mom of three roadrunners with one future roadrunner at home - Fritz, Ari, Petra and Ezra! Anjali, THANK YOU!

Alisa Viedma stepped up to the plate when the PTA needed someone quick to fill the Treasurer role with an eagerness to learn and be supportive.  We cannot appropriately articulate how incredibly valuable and fortunate we have been to have her join the team!  Balancing our bank accounts and checkbooks with Square and Hellofund is no small feat! Alisa is mom to Mateo in 2nd grade.  Alisa, THANK YOU!

Teacher Appreciation Week Recap

Thanks to all of our amazing teachers and staff!

Today we wrapped up Teacher Appreciation Week with a bang! We're so grateful to our incredible teachers and staff who make our school run and make our kids smile every day (while learning) - we're so fortunate to have you at our school!

The PTA sponsored treats and gifts all week - breakfast, lunch, planners and more! Thank you to Bird Bird Biscuit, El Dorado Cafe, and First Light for their support throughout the week.

Special thanks to Stephanie Chang, our Appreciation Chair - for making this all come together; Kristy O, Kimberley T, Sheer N, Jennifer D, Kristina P, Rachel S, Monica A. for their help this week, and all of the amazing parents and kids who decorated doors! It take a village!

  • Or if you have time, head down to the Capitol and check out the meeting in person. The meeting is at 10 am in the JHR ( John H. Reagan) Building, Room 140. Fill out the google form here to get connected with fellow Austin advocates.
