Eastwood End of Year Field Trips

Students will walk to Eastwoods Park for some end of year fun the last two weeks of school - see below for scheduled dates/times. Caregivers are welcome to join - expect to see more details coming from your Grade Level Coordinators, but for now save the date!

Our kids and coaches are ready - Lee Olympics is scheduled for this Friday, May 1! Coaches will be keeping an eye out on the rain and will communicate Friday morning if a change in date is necessary.

Caregivers are welcome to join - just make sure to bring your id and check in at the front desk before proceeding to the fun.

Opening ceremony is from 8 am - 8:20 am, you can see the full day's schedule and grade level colors here.

AISD Budget Discussions and Feedback

Timeline released for proposed cuts to 26-27 school year

Today, April 30 is the last day to share your budget priorities with AISD by taking the 2026–27 Budget Feedback Survey.

There will also be a board work session on the budget this evening starting at 6 pm. Visit the board meeting page here if you want to stream the discussion and you can view the agenda here.

You can also learn more about this situation and the proposed impacts through the the final district level virtual session on May 9 at 11 am (Zoom).

The first proposal for cuts will be released on May 5, in anticipation of a discussion at the May 7 board meeting. The full proposed budget will be presented May 21.
