Welcome

Tonight's the night - Art Show (4 - 6 pm) and Maker Faire (5 - 7 pm). Come see your student's framed self portraits on display in the gym gallery from 4:00-6:00 pm. You can purchase in person or in advance here . Purchasing your child's artwork is not required, and you will get all artwork back at the end of the year - but this is a wonderful fundraiser for our Art program.

Don't forget to stop by the Maker Faire from 5:00-7:00 pm in the Library where students can craft and dyi - all led by our upper grades!

A huge thanks to Ms. Wilborn and Ms. Day for leading these events for our kids!

Roadrunner Spotlight

Lee LIVE final numbers are in! Major props to our Lee LIVE committee - Abby Tucker, Anni Knox, Clarissa Pena, Julie Soskolne, Kayti & Connor Duffie, Lauren & Jacob Ross, Suz Bartholomew, lead by Selena Melancon & Chelsea Holtz! They exceeded the PTA’s goal of $65,000! These funds will go towards next year’s budget and help us keep the status quo at Lee!

This past Sunday was another successful Roadie work day at Lee! Many thanks to Susana Prince who led the charge of tending to the gardens, raking leaves, taking care of those pesky ant piles and getting things ready for Lee Olympics next Friday!

Torchy's Receipt Share

Tuesday, April 28, 4 - 8 pm

Mark your calendars for our next spirit night at Torchy’s Tacos in Mueller on April 28th from 4–8 PM! Come enjoy some chips + queso, tacos, and margs while supporting Lee. With a big, beautiful, shady patio, it’s the perfect spot to relax, let the kids play, and connect with our community over dinner—we hope to see you there!

Let the cashier know you’re with Lee for Spirit Night! If you order online for pickup, just make sure the cashier or bartender prints off the ticket so your purchase can be included!

AISD Budget Discussions and Feedback

Ways to engage for 26-27 School Year

AISD is seeking your perspective to help prioritize the programs and services that matter most to our students as they assess cuts for the 26-27 school year due to a potential $181 million budget deficit.

All non-mandated spending is being review - including Librarian, Essential Areas instructors (Art, Music and PE), Assistant Principal, Counselor, Nurse, and Support Teaching Staff. This means that these positions could be in question for our campus.

You can share your priorities with AISD by taking the 2026–27 Budget Feedback Survey no later than April 30.

Meet us at Torchy’s in Mueller at 4PM on April 28th - a group of us will be heading to Austin High for AISD’s In-Person happening from 6-7PM (see below).

You can also learn more about this situation and the proposed impacts through the following discussions:

District Level Discussions

  • Virtual Sessions: April 25 (Zoom) and May 9 (Zoom), (11 a.m.–12 p.m.)

  • In-Person Session: Austin High School on April 28 (6–7 p.m.)

Lee Olympics

Friday, May 1

Next Friday is the Lee Olympics - parent's are welcome to attend - just make sure to check in at the front office. Check out times and each grades assigned color below.

We'll also have Lee merch - hats, shirts, and socks available for purchase. If you have already purchased Lee socks and haven't received them, please check with the front office.

A huge thanks to Coach Wyss, Coach Stancil, and Asst. Coach Duran for leading this for our students!

Poem in Your Pocket Day

April 29

Next Wednesday, April 29 is Poem in Your Pocket Day! Have your student write a poem and share it with 10 friends, have your friends sign the poem, and Ms. Day has a fun prize waiting!
